THE WEEKLY EDIT

You can tell a lot about people by the way they handle a full moon—if you know what to look for.

Consider this your cheat sheet.

First, there’s your standard-issue victim of circumstance, who uses the upcoming lunar spectacle as permission to come undone. They mess with your energy, add an anxiety to the air that you can’t seem to wash off, and promptly disappear—leaving a cloud of negative vapor behind.

Then there are the charmers. They turn up the volume on their vibe and make everything around them levitate. They relish a full moon. It clarifies the mind, refreshes the spirit and gives their natural magnetism a little extra wattage.

And finally, we've got the late bloomers, who don’t feel the full moon until after it has come and gone. They materialize from nowhere, create a scene — even if just in their minds — and dissolve just as quickly. Brooding is not out of the question.

You don’t get to choose which category you fall into (and one is not better than the other) but you can do something about it. First recognize what’s happening around you. Then pay attention to what it’s doing to you. Third — and this is the key to magnetism — understand how both of those things impact the people around you. Ok? Good. Class dismissed.

🍸Think of this week as a play in three acts, Edit Insiders. And the curtain is rising.

The cosmos is running the show -- and let’s just say it’s in the midst of a very loud discussion. One side of the sky wants to be seen, applauded, and taken very seriously all at the same time. The other side just wants everyone to calm down. Neither one is going to win, and that's the point — a Full Moon is a release, not a resolution. That's the plot twist -- and the lesson this week wants you to learn.

Most people focus only on the night the full moon arrives. But by then, darling, you’re late.

To get a good seat for the best show of the week, you need to arrive early, plan to stay late and remain open to the possibility that this energy may change you in entirely new and unexpected ways.

COSMIC WEATHER REPORT

Tuesday: Overcast with a chance of nothing happening, and that's the point. The Moon's still parked in Capricorn until evening, keeping things practical. Use it. Attend to the details, the paperwork, that damn errand you keep putting off. The energy wants you to clear a space for what's about to happen.

Wednesday: Mostly clear with a chance of ego, with stale air building to a highly anticipated release by noon. You may want to take cover. Venus and Mars can't agree on anything before sunrise, then the Sun and Jupiter throw a two-hour party in Leo, and the Full Moon shows up right across from it to make sure everyone processes their feelings out loud. (If you thought craziness was reserved for the evening, here’s your spoiler alert: It’s happening all damn day.)

Thursday: Emotionally hazy, with the chance of an occasional temperamental flare-up. Most of today is devoted to cleaning up yesterday's energy. Not everyone around you appreciates the leftover vibe. You'll feel them.

Friday: Ahhhhh. The Moon slides into Pisces. Consider this permission to stop performing and just drift directly into the weekend. No hard decisions. No hard personalities. Bypass any prickly energy with a look of mild amusement. That’ll keep it at bay.

POWER MOVE

Don’t match the energy. Read the timing.

HOW THIS ENERGY HITS THE SIGNS

This Week's Energy + Your Sign = Magnetism Score
10 = Magnetic north. Doors open. People notice. Synchronicities abound.
8–9 = Strong attraction energy. Work with it, don't force it.
6–7 = Mixed signals. Stay aware. Don't chase.
4–5 = Course correction territory. The lesson is more valuable than the outcome.
1–3 = Stop pushing. The universe is trying to tell you something.

BEFORE SIGNS: Tuesday into early Wednesday

These signs are the early-warning system. They feel the pressure building before the full moon reaches its peak. ID them early to diminish their impact … or damage.

ARIES
Sorry, love, it's just not your week to lead. Watch the Leo fireworks from a safe distance, applaud, exit early. Sleep may be your best friend this week.
Magnetism: 5/10

CANCER
Mercury just went direct in your sign, so you’re clearer-headed while everyone else is having main-character moments. Useful position to be in. But don’t absorb someone else’s discomfort simply because you noticed it first.
Magnetism: 6/10

LIBRA
Quiet week for you, which gives you far too much time to feel. The full moon seems to be asking you to abandon responsibility -- but that's not the real read. It’s asking what you've sacrificed in favor of responsibility. And why. Think about that.
Magnetism: 4/10

CAPRICORN
You are the canary in this particular cosmic coal mine, Cap. Your body, budget or sense of self-worth begins reacting before the spectacle arrives. What feels like irritation may actually be your internal price-correction system kicking in.
Magnetism: 5/10

DURING SIGNS: Wednesday through Thursday

These signs are standing directly beneath the spotlight. Events become harder to ignore, emotions become more visible and other people may become much louder. Protect your vibe lest you get swept up in theirs — which may or may not be a good thing.

TAURUS
Career, reputation or authority comes under the full-moon lights. Something public may change—or reveal that it already has. Digging in will feel natural. Updating the plan without surrendering your standards will work better.
Magnetism: 8/10

LEO
It's your week, full stop. Sun meets Jupiter in your sign Wednesday morning — first time this pairing's happened in your sign in over a decade. Let yourself take up the space. Just notice who's still in the room after the applause stops.
Magnetism: 10/10 but of course you knew that.

SCORPIO
The Leo/Aquarius axis squares your sign this week, so Wednesday might feel like everyone else’s drama landing on your desk. It’s not your circus, technically, so kick back and enjoy the show. Your detached vibe may ground the others—and just like that, you’re a superhero.
Magnetism: 7.5/10

AQUARIUS
You are both the star and the spectacle. A change in your identity, direction or presence becomes too visible to tuck back into its old packaging. Own the person you’ve become—but resist the temptation to blow up the room simply to prove you’ve changed.
Magnetism: 9/10

AFTER SIGNS: Friday and into the Weekend

These signs are the late bloomers. The full moon appears to pass without incident—until its meaning suddenly materializes. Then, all bets are off.

GEMINI
Something you said, learned, published or decided takes on greater significance after the full moon passes. A casual idea may turn into a very real direction. By Friday, you’ll need to decide whether you were merely talking—or whether you meant it.
Magnetism: 6/10 but a possible 8 if you make up your mind quickly.

VIRGO
Venus is in your sign and getting into it with Mars before sunrise — the tension between "let me fix this first" and "just send it." You don't have to pick; you have to time it. And if you can't do either, well, now's the perfect time to blame it on the moon.
Magnetism: 5/10

SAGITTARIUS
Your words may take a while to land with others, but when they do, they land hard. A conversation, message or piece of news that seemed manageable at first begins changing the emotional atmosphere around you. You can revise the delivery, darling. That doesn’t mean you need to retract the truth.
Magnetism: 7/10

PISCES
Your week starts Friday morning when the Moon moves into your sign. Let Wednesday be everyone else's problem; the reset is coming to you.
Magnetism: 5/10 with potential for a 7/10 if you allow yourself to be amused by others' nonsense midweek.
