Let the text sit before you send it. Tonight, the Sun and Neptune face off and the fog rolls in. It's perfect for a candlelit dinner, less perfect for signing … anything.
Saturday: The cosmos gives you permission to sleep in — so it can clear up some energy residue that does nothing for no one. The Moon moves into Aries this morning and then the energy picks up fast. Neptune joins the Moon just before noon, and the Harvest Moon peaks during lunch. Late afternoon, a spark of spontaneity hits your energy field. Spend the evening looking up at that Moon. 🍸 THE HARVEST MOON MARTINI
You’ll need:
2 oz vodka (or gin, if you like a little mystery)
1 oz pear nectar
½ oz elderflower liqueur
½ oz fresh lemon juice
A pinch of cinnamon, plus a tiny pinch of cayenne for Aries’ kick
A thin round slice of apple (cut for garnish)
Optional: cinnamon sugar for the rim
How to make it:
Rim a chilled glass with cinnamon sugar, if using. Shake everything (except the pear slice, because that would make it cranky) with ice for about 15 seconds, then strain into the glass. Float the apple slice on top. That’s your full moon.
Neptune’s twist: Add a splash of club soda at the end for a little extra mist and mischief.
Zero-proof version: Keep the pear nectar, lemon and spices. Skip the vodka and elderflower liqueur, then top with ginger beer or a flavored seltzer. Same Harvest Moon glow. Considerably less Neptune.
