That’s what the universe is selling us this weekend, and who are we to argue? Best to run with the ball, instead of against the wind.
Before you start the hemming and hawing of how you’re just not in the mood to deep clean the bathroom grout and declutter the garage — let’s be real, you’d probably get lost inside that garage at this point — we are not, repeat not, talking about spring cleaning the house.
Ah, yes, we can feel the sigh of relief all the way up here.

If it helps, think of it as a house. Now think about what’s inside: An actual lifetime’s worth of debris, some of it dusty, worn out and meant for the scrap heap — and most likely suffocating the best memories, wishes and that childlike wonder you so seldom call out to play these days. Here’s the thing: All that good stuff at the bottom is weighted down by that useless stuff tossed on top of it. Worse yet, that stuff you haven’t hauled off to the mental curb is taking up precious space — space meant for new experiences, space meant for flexing the discernment that comes from experience, making better choices, knowing what you really want — and most importantly, what you don’t.
Now, if this inspires you to tackle those closets, that kitchen junk drawer or even that fabled garage, go for it. But know that’s not a substitute for the internal work. Make room in your mind for a new vision of what you’d like life to be. It needs room to grow before it can manifest.
